Get the Re-Training You Need to Earn Your California Barber License

Have a license in another state or country and want to practice in California? Don’t go it alone. With Moler Barber College, you can freshen up your skills and enter the California licensing exam confidently.

Once you have your license, you can pursue a variety of barber opportunities in the Bay Area and the rest of California.

This course is suitable for students and practicing/licensed barbers from other states or countries. This course consists of 400 hours* of instruction and practical application, haircutting, and shampooing, sanitation and hygiene, salesmanship, and laws and regulations in a condensed format.

Duration: 2.5 months* (up to 6 months* maximum)

Tuition & Fees: $4,774

Prerequisite: The Student Applicant must be qualified to take the License Examination. This course if for licensed Apprentices or Barbers from another state or country.

Prepare for Certification

Don’t waste your time taking Barbering courses that don’t prepare you for the California Barbering exam. You’ll feel confident knowing that you’ve acquired the skills and knowledge that the exam covers. Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared to successfully write the California Barber Examination.
